Updated Book of Estonian Statistics Now Available for Smart Devices

The annually updated pocket-sized reference book "Minifacts about Estonia 2012" is now available for iPad and iPhone. Starting today iPad and iPhone users can download Statistics Estonia's reference book "Minifacts about Estonia 2012" from the App Store free of charge.

"Our aim is to provide those who are interested with a convenient and attractive opportunity to familiarise themselves with statistical data about Estonia," Communications Chief of Statistics Estonia Anu Ots said last year, when the first version of the app was released.

The pocket-sized reference book provides essential data on Estonia in comparison with other European Union countries. The information is presented in texts, tables and diagrams, and for each subject area there is a brief overview of development over the last ten years. The app includes statistics on the environment, population, health and social protection, education, culture, wages and salaries, prices and price indices, housing, trade, transport and communications, tourism, and more. It is one of Statistics Estonia's most popular publications.
